No bank details are stored by the website: the security deposit is handled directly as a card pre-authorisation when the vehicle is handed over.
3. Sending via WhatsApp
The booking form prepares a message sent from your own WhatsApp app : the information entered then passes through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), whose privacy policy applies. You remain free to cancel sending before confirming in WhatsApp, or to contact us by phone or email.
4. Recipients
Data is intended exclusively for the Sherley Location team. It is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. Technical processors: Hostinger (website hosting, EU), WhatsApp/Meta (messaging, if you choose this channel), Google (Gmail email), Stripe (secure deposit payment; Sherley Location stores no card data). Some of these providers (Meta, Google, Stripe) may process data outside the European Union; such transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Traffic is measured by an anonymous in-house tool: no cookies set, no IP addresses stored (hashed, non-reversible daily identifier), aggregated data only — a set-up exempt from consent under the CNIL guidelines. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the website to work may be set, which are exempt from consent.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data.
